Tariq: When did you start modelling?
EDANE: January 2006
Tariq: damn! fresh face!
EDANE: (laughs), yeah. I was doing my acting since I was 17 and after high school I started taking a whole bunch of acting classes but the modeling thing is pretty new.
Tariq: What made you decide to pursue it?
EDANE: Well…. my friend Eva Simon kept telling me to do it. She's also a model, she's miss swimsuit Canada 2005. She hooked me up with a Sunshine girl photo shoot and everything happened from there. Everyone also used to ask me a lot if I was a model (laughs) so I thought "hey! Maybe I should just model."
Tariq: What's your experience been like so far?
EDANE: It's been great so far!! I've met a lot of really awesome girls. I got to meet Carolyn Savage, Francine Dee who I'm a big fan of! People are also extra nice to me these days so far it's been great and I'm sure it'll only get better
Tariq: Extra nice I can imagine........What type of reaction do you get when you go out?
EDANE: When I go out I don't always dress up... i just try to dress normal so i don't get a lot of attention. (Laughs) but sometimes people stare.
Tariq: stare? Drool? Whistle? Hiss?
EDANE: Yeah! My neighbors always stare and follow me around. I think its weird. One time I did a car show with TOYO Tires and a guy asked to take a picture with me and he drooled! I swear!! He almost got his drool all over me! (Laughs)
Tariq: (Laughs)
EDANE: Still I'm an average looking girl and I was not always pretty. Kids used to make fun of me all the time for looking different and having no boobs (Laughs) so I was always nice so people didn't have to look at my appearance and look deeper. So, now when they tell me I'm pretty I think it's because they see what's inside.
Tariq: that may be true but be aware of the PERV!
EDANE: says: The Perv? (Laughs) there are allot!!
Tariq: So what's the dumbest thing somebody has said to you?
EDANE: No one really says dumb things to me. They say silly things but never dumb.
Tariq: That'll change...I'll ask you after the summer is over. Do you find that men are afraid to approach you?
EDANE: (Laughs) Some but I'm pretty approachable. I've been working in the restaurant/bar industry since I was 17 so I'm used to chatting it up with people. I love talking to guys that love talking to me but sometimes, guys get all sweaty...and they stutter. I want tell them not to be scared
Tariq: (Laughs) sweaty?
EDANE: (Laughs) yeah SWEAT!!!!
Tariq: I guess you just got it like that E!
EDANE:(Laughs)
Tariq: What's the one thing you always have in your purse that you can't leave home without?
EDANE: lip gloss, well my keys too and cell phone. I know u said one thing... but i need all those
Tariq: What is your favourite type of clothing or accessories to shop for?
EDANE: I LOVE skirts and lingerie!! Lingerie is like my daily wardrobe
Tariq: Whoa!
EDANE: (Laughs) I know!
Tariq: The fellas can appreciate that answer E!
EDANE: No they appreciate the sexy lingerie on me, not the answer. (Laughs)
Tariq: Exactly (Laughs) what do you feel is your sexiest feature?
EDANE: My abs, my lips, my legs, my face.
Tariq: What do you think about when you pose sexy for a camera?
EDANE: I think "wow! I'm sexy" (laughs)
Tariq: (Laughs) What category of photos do you do?
EDANE: glamour/lingerie, swimsuit, mostly lingerie (Laughs)
Tariq: Okay Ms. Lingerie do you have any favorite color lingerie you like to wear?
EDANE: I bought this new turquoise lingerie and it looks really good on me. I think that's my fave so far
Tariq: What woman do you find sexy?
EDANE: I think every woman with self confidence and good heart is sexy. Sexy is not really about the looks, it's more in the attitude and personality
Tariq: That's true. What type of music do you listen to?
EDANE: I listen to everything. I really love old and new country, I'm a BIG fan! I love the 70's 80's 90's HITS, I like reggae, Rock/Alternative and I just started listening to HipHop and I really like SOME of it.
Tariq: Do you have any favorite artists?
EDANE: I've always been a big fan of Hanson. Incubus is also one of my favorites. I love those guys!!!! They rock!! I've been to a few of their concerts and luckily got to know them over the years.
Tariq: Did you ever want to become an artist?
EDANE: Yeah. I wanted to be a singer but I wasn't very good so I decided it would never work. I decided to be an actress (Laughs), It's not going very well right now so I decided that I needed to get more experience and took on modeling.
Tariq: Now you're signing posters like crazy
EDANE: Nah, not really. It's been a great experience so far! I love everything right now it'll only get better.
Tariq: Well your definitely putting in work
EDANE: Yeah! It's paying off
Tariq: If you wanted to do something nice for your man what would you do?
EDANE: Bake him some brownies with chunks of reese's peanut butter and do a strip tease for him while he's snaking on his brownies, oh!...and a massage afterwards.
Tariq: What? I don't want to hear no more....I'm hatin but I'll have some brownies though
EDANE: (laughs) I'll bake some brownies for u!!!
Tariq: I'm good with that...I'm going to get fat
EDANE: (laughs)
Tariq: Do you have a favorite drink?
EDANE: water
Tariq: Would you consider yourself a health freak?
EDANE: I take care of myself and I love healthy food but I have my McDonalds and street meat every once in awhile.
Tariq: Do you hit the gym allot?
EDANE: No, I've been to the gym once 2 years ago (Laughs) but I do my stretches daily and a few sit ups on my exercise ball.
Tariq: Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?
EDANE: Hollywood, Vegas, all over!!
Tariq: Not so fast...you got brownies to bake first!
EDANE: (Laughs) Well I'll be baking brownies even after Hollywood and Vegas!
Tariq: Good.
