- Rowald: When and how did you start
modeling?
- Claudia: I worked as a salesperson at a retail
store in a mall and the owner put me in her local commercial.
- Rowald: What category of photos do you
do?
- Claudia: Swimsuit, lingerie, some glamour and as a
promo/tradeshow model. I don't shoot nudes. I'm not in Playboy. I do calendars,
catalogs, posters, magazine layouts and lots and lots of tradeshows and promo
work.
- Rowald: Did you take any classes for
modeling or acting?
- Claudia: I took a class to help with commercial tv
auditions many years ago.
- Rowald: Does a shoot make you nervous?
- Claudia: Not anymore. I used to get jittery.
- Rowald: What's your experience been like so
far? How has the industry treated you so far?
- Claudia: I've always been told that I'm too short,
too dark/ethnic, too busty to successfully work as a model. Yet...everytime
that I book a job proves those people wrong!
- Rowald: I guess you do not do modeling full
time. What else do you do?
- Claudia: This is all I do to make a living. I used
to bartend in Miami.
- Rowald: What are the worst assumptions
people make about models?
- Claudia: That we are ditzy or sleazy. People
assume that, because we wear risqué or revealing clothing on shoots, we
are promiscuous.
- Rowald: What other talents do you
pursue?
- Claudia: an education.
- Rowald: Do you have any hobbies?
- Claudia: I love to draw and I love to run.
- Rowald: What did you want to be when you
were a little girl?
- Claudia: a cowgirl
- Rowald: Did you travel a lot and where
to?
- Claudia: I've been all over the US, Hawaii, some
parts of Canada, the Caribbean and South America but never Europe.
- Rowald: If you wanted to do something nice
for your man what would you do?
- Claudia: I do nice things for my man everyday. I
love to cook for him, surprise with a little something when I'm out shopping.
- Rowald: So you in a relationship?
- Claudia: Happily living with my man!
- Rowald: Where will you be seen next?
- Claudia: I've got a layout coming in MMA Mag. I
shot a poster for Miller Lite (I'm dying to see it!), and I'm a week 6
semi-finalist on Maxim's Hometown Hottie Search.
- Rowald: What do you feel is your sexiest
feature?
- Claudia: My eyes and my lips.
- Rowald: Are you going out often?
- Claudia: Not since I moved to AZ. I'm entering a
different stage in my life. I'm not into going out to clubs every night.
- Rowald: What type of reaction do you get
when you go out?
- Claudia: I get harassed by idiots all the
time...one of the reasons I dislike clubs and bars.
- Rowald: Have you been disrespected by men
because of modeling?
- Claudia: All the time. I don't put up with
it.
- Rowald: Do you have a thing you always have
in your purse that you can't leave home without?
- Claudia: Lip Balm and eyedrops. My eyes are always
red!
- Rowald: What is your favorite type of
clothing or accessories to shop for?
- Claudia: Shoes and handbags.
- Rowald: Do you have any favorite color you
like to wear?
- Claudia: I don't really have a favorite particular
color. I dress depending on the mood I'm in.
- Rowald: What type of music do you listen
to?
- Claudia: House and rock and roll, with a bit of
Jazz.
- Rowald: You went to school for culinary
arts. What is that?
- Claudia: I love to cook but I've never taken any
lessons. I'm really good at it because I enjoy it so much. I guess i cook from
the soul...or more like from my stomach!
- Rowald: Would you consider yourself a health
freak?
- Claudia: no...but I do work out to keep myself
looking and feeling good about myself..
- Rowald: Do you hit the gym a lot?
- Claudia: a few times a week and I try to eat
fairly healthy.
- Rowald: Where do you see yourself 5 years
from now?
- Claudia: I take each day as it comes...
- Rowald: What's your favorite body part on a
man?
- Claudia: His arms!
- Rowald: Do you have a fetish and if, what is
it?
- Claudia: shoes.
- Rowald: What was your biggest
adventure?
- Claudia: Skydiving at 10,000 feet.
- Rowald: Do you dream often and what are your
dreams about?
- Claudia: I never remember them
- Rowald: Have you ever told someone you had a
crush on him/her?
- Claudia: yes.
- Rowald: Are you romantic?
- Claudia: very.
- Rowald: What do you prefer: Luxury hotel,
tend or both?
- Claudia: both
- Rowald: Does it take you long to get ready
to go out?
- Claudia: about an hour.
- Rowald: Do you change dress style often,
like being flexible in look from casual to fine, or do you have like everydays
wear?
- Claudia: I dress depending on my mood, but usually
very casual: jeans and flip flops, no make-up unless I'm at work.
- Rowald: Are you a so called high maintenance
girl?
- Claudia: I'd like to think so...but I'm a
bum.
- Rowald: Would you make your hands dirty in
order to get something done rather than waiting for help?
- Claudia: If I can fix...I will do it myself.
- Rowald: What attracts or inspires you?
- Claudia: The kindness of some people.
- Rowald: When meeting a man, where do you
look first at?
- Claudia: his body.
- Rowald: Do you speak any other
languages?
- Claudia: Spanish
- Rowald: What is your highest educational
degree?
- Claudia: Bachelor's in
Communications/Broadcasting.
